Manifestations of Acid Reflux Disorder - The More Common and Less Common Symptoms

The condition is mainly caused by a dysfunctional or weak lower esophageal sphincter which when functioning as it should, prevents the occurrence of stomach acid backflow.


Known to be the more common group of acid reflux disorder or GERD symptoms, the esophageal manifestations are the more popular among the complaints of patients suffering from the disease.
